LH Parkhotel Hluboká is located near the Hluboká  Castle, one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic. The hotel building is surrounded by a park and has 62 comfortable rooms (150 beds), a restaurant with a summer terrace, a lobby bar, a multifunctional separable hall for up to 400 people, a wellness center and a monitored parking lot for about 60 cars and 3 buses. The stylish restaurant Hunting hut is located on the hotel grounds, where you can enjoy first-class gastronomy.

By car - parking

LH Parkhotel **** Hluboká has a convenient location, only 7 km from the D3 highway, 10 km from the center of České Budějovice, 30 km from Český Krumlov, 140 km from Prague (90 min.), 130 km from Pilsen and 200 km from Brno .

 

Parking options

The Parkhotel has its own monitored parking lot for about 60 cars and 3 buses. Parking for a fee.

By bus

There are bus stops Pod hotelem and Škola right next to the hotel. From these stops there are connections from Týn nad Vltavou or České Budějovice.

 

The main stop in Hluboká nad Vltavou is the Pod kostelem stop, which is located in the city center. Both direct lines to Hluboká nad Vltavou and only passing bus lines stop here. The bus stop is 800 m from the hotel.

By train

Hluboká nad Vltavou can be easily reached by train. There are two train stops here:


Hluboká nad Vltavou - U Sudárny: direction Č. Budějovice - Pilsen (The stop is 3 km from the hotel.
Hluboká nad Vltavou – Zámostí: direction Č. Budějovice – Prague (The stop is 3 km from the hotel.

Originally, the Hluboká royal castle was founded together with the nearby České Budějovice in the 13th century by the Czech king Přemysl Otakar II. The tower of the castle offers a panoramic view of the countryside and the Vltava River.

Ohrada hunting lodge and museum

Ohrada Castle was built in the years 1708 - 1713 in the Baroque style for Prince A.F. Schwarzenberg as a hunting castle. The Museum of Forestry, Hunting and Fishing is the oldest hunting museum in Europe. The first museum collections of hunting trophies and stuffed animals were placed in the baroque Ohrada castle as early as 1842. The castle itself served from the very beginning as a background for the organization of parfors hunts and festivities.
